Special education advocacyEducation Advocacy for IEP meetings
A prepared, calm advocate at your side, so your child’s IEP reflects their real needs and you understand every decision.
Partners at the table, with your child at the center
IEP meetings can feel fast and overwhelming. We help you prepare, understand the school’s documents, and ask for what your child needs.
Our approach is collaborative and fact-based: we treat the school team as partners while keeping your child’s needs in focus. For Mandarin-speaking families, Vanessa translates and explains during the process so you can fully take part in IEP decisions.
How we support your family
IEP meeting advocacy
We attend IEP meetings with you and help keep the discussion focused on your child’s needs.
Setting IEP goals
We help you push for measurable goals that fit your child’s real needs and can be tracked over time.
Navigating school resources
We explain the services, supports, and accommodations the school can provide, and how to ask for them.
Requesting an IEE
If you disagree with the school’s assessment, we help you request an Independent Educational Evaluation.
NPS school selection
We help you look into Non-Public School placements and understand the options.
Assessments and offers of FAPE
We help request assessments and updated offers of FAPE, review school documents, and prepare and follow up.
Due process support
If a dispute heads to due process, we work alongside your special education attorney to guide your family through it.
Mandarin support
Clear translation and explanation so Mandarin-speaking parents can participate fully.
